Bridgestone puts total cost of ownership in focus
Bridgestone reports that its new Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) platform attracted strong interest at this year’s Road Transport Expo (RTX) in the UK, as fleet operators visited the stand to see how tailored data insights could support more efficient fleet decision-making.
Making its exhibition debut in Stoneleigh, Bridgestone said the new tool aims to meet the growing demand among operators for practical, data-driven solutions that improve efficiency without compromising performance.

Bridgestone’s TCO platform enables operators to input their own operational data to create bespoke cost comparisons, helping identify where efficiencies can be achieved across their fleets. Rather than relying on generic assumptions, the tool provides a tailored assessment based on each customer’s individual operation, allowing fleets to make more informed commercial decisions.
Visitors also explored Bridgestone’s latest Ecopia with Enliten technology range, developed to greatly improve fuel efficiency, alongside the Duravis portfolio, engineered to maximise mileage and reduce premature tyre removals.
Bandag’s premium retread solutions also attracted strong interest, demonstrating how fleets can extend casing life, reduce waste and embrace a more sustainable circular economy without compromising performance.
Meanwhile, Bridgestone’s integrated Fleetcare solution and Webfleet’s latest innovations, including the AI-powered Fleet Advisor, connected camera solutions and PRO Driver Terminals, demonstrated how connected fleet technology is helping operators enhance safety, strengthen compliance and improve operational efficiency.
Alex Crane-Robinson, Webfleet regional director, UK and Ireland, said: “The conversations we had at RTX highlighted the growing importance of our technology in helping operators manage increasingly complex and demanding operations.
“By giving fleets clearer visibility of their vehicles, drivers and day-to-day performance, data insights can help them identify opportunities to improve efficiency, support compliance and control costs. RTX offered a valuable opportunity to demonstrate how Webfleet can help operators use these insights to make faster, better-informed decisions.”
