Citroen reveals 2CV van concept
Citroen could fully revive its classic 2CV van in the future, having revealed the Fourgonette Concept at the 2026 Paris Motor Show.
Unveiled alongside the 2CV passenger car concept, Citroen said the electric 2CV van concept serves as a “passion project”, and does not preview a future production model “in the short term”.

The original 2CV Fourgonnette served generations of tradespeople, shopkeepers and delivery drivers, with Citroen saying the concept stays faithful to the original while focusing on future uses and challenges.
Citroen said the new concept aims to carry that role into an “accessible, practical and ingenious” electric vehicle.
Xavier Chardon, CEO of Citroen and DS Automobiles, said the original 2 CV Fourgonnette was “more than just a workhorse”.
“It was part of everyday life. Simple, ingenious and accessible, it above all possessed something few commercial vehicles have: a soul. That is the spirit we are bringing back to life today. Because being useful should never mean being ordinary,” he added.
