Sean McKeown to interview Castrol expert at 2026 CV Workshop EXPO

One of the TechTalk sessions at the 2026 CV Workshop EXPO will feature ‘Under the Hood’ podcast presenter Sean McKeown, of McKeown Auto Services interviewing Castrol Expert Technologist, Simon Gurney.

With more than 20 years of experience in the lubricants industry, Gurney has worked closely with vehicle manufacturers, workshops and technology teams to develop Castrol engine oils, transmission fluids and EV fluids.

During the session, they will explore the changing lubricants landscape, developments in vehicle technology and what these changes mean for independent workshops. Gurney will translate complex technical subjects into practical insights that technicians and garage owners can apply in their businesses.

The session will also feature input from a Castrol Service workshop, bringing a valuable real-world garage perspective to the discussion.

The 2026 CV Workshop EXPO takes place alongside the Auto Trade EXPO from 10th -11th October at the RDS Simmonscourt in Dublin.
