Mercedes-Benz delivers more eActros 600 electric trucks to Amazon

Mercedes-Benz Trucks has handed over the first 27 battery-electric Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 to retail giant Amazon, with more than 50 due to run on German roads by the end of 2026.

The vehicles come from an order for over 200 units placed earlier this year, representing the largest electric truck purchase from Amazon.

The majority of the 200 fleet is being deployed in the UK, where deliveries began from the end of 2025.

Mercedes-Benz Trucks said the eActros 600 is deployed on so-called middle-mile routes, meaning for the transport of goods between fulfillment centres and urban areas.

The eActros 600 runs three battery packs giving 621 kWh and a claimed range of up to 500km at 40 tonnes gross combination mass.

According to the manufacturer, its lithium iron phosphate cells are engineered for 1.2 million kilometres over 10 years.
