Westlake to showcase new truck tyres at IAA

Westlake plans to showcase its latest commercial truck tyre developments at IAA Transportation 2026, held from 15th–20th September in Hannover, Germany.

The products presented at IAA will highlight two key directions in Westlake’s latest commercial tyre development: the Long Run series, focused on low rolling resistance, and the PRO series, developed for high-mileage applications.

A major highlight will be Westlake’s latest Long Run range, including the WSL2 steer tyre, WDL2+ drive tyre and WTL2 wide-base trailer tyre, with the WSL2 and WDL2+ now achieving EU Tyre Label Class A for rolling resistance.

Covering steer, drive and trailer axle positions, Westlake said the range is developed for long-haul operations with a focus on lower rolling resistance, improved fuel efficiency and extended mileage.

Alongside the Long Run range, Westlake will highlight its PRO series, developed for fleet applications where high mileage and long-term durability are key priorities.

In addition to these latest products, Westlake said it will also present selected Gen II commercial tyres, further showcasing its product portfolio developed for European fleet needs.
