Totalkare TR23 tyre changer helps Pegasus Grab Hire reduce downtime

Stourbridge-based Pegasus Grab Hire has made its workshop more efficient and safer by bringing tyre maintenance in-house with Totalkare’s TR23 tyre changer.

This change has helped reduce downtime and given the company more control over its fleet for tyre changing operations.

The TR23 tyre changer is built for commercial vehicles and can handle rim sizes from 16- to 22.5-inches, as well as tyres up to 1,200mm in diameter. Its compact design helps save space in the workshop, while features like the double press roller system and four-claw hydraulic clamping make it easier and safer to work with different types of wheels.

Since installing the machine, Pegasus Grab Hire said it has already seen clear improvements.

“Outsourcing tyre work often meant delays that we could not afford. With the TR23, we can complete jobs much faster and plan our maintenance around the business. It has also made the process safer and more straightforward for our team,” said Steve Hand of Pegasus Grab Hire.
