McGuinness Forwarding adds five new Volvo FH 4×2 units

Frank, Siofra and Mick McGuinness of McGuinness Forwarding recently collected five new Volvo FH 4×2 Tractor Units from Irish Commercials, marking another significant investment in the company’s transport operation.

McGuinness Forwarding supplies a comprehensive range of all services necessary for any tour (music festivals, live events, air & sea freight), and theatrical or exhibition trucking throughout Europe. Whether they are one-off special events, festivals, arenas or exhibitions, the company is experienced in the relevant areas.

The new trucks have been built for demanding international transport operations and specified with a focus on performance, efficiency and driver comfort on long journeys across Ireland, the UK and mainland Europe.

Each unit is equipped with a 460HP Euro 6 engine, Volvo’s I-Shift gearbox, VEB+ engine brake, full air suspension, dual battery system, JOST dual-height 5th wheel and the spacious Globetrotter XL cab.
