Renault Trucks UK & Ireland appoints Larcher as MD
Renault Trucks UK & Ireland has appointed Aymeric Larcher as managing director, taking up the role from 1st May 2026.
He succeeds Carlos Oliveira Rodrigues, who has been promoted to senior vice president, Renault Trucks Europe, after seven years leading the UK and Ireland business.

Larcher joins Renault Trucks UK & Ireland from his role as head of key account sales in France. Having started at Volvo Group in 2006, he has held a number of leadership positions at both European and global level.

As MD, Larcher will lead the strategic and commercial direction of Renault Trucks UK & Ireland, building on the strong foundations established in one of Renault Trucks’ most advanced and strategically important European markets.
His focus will be on supporting customers across the full Renault Trucks range, including the transition to low carbon transport, strengthening the dealer network and driving sustainable, profitable growth.
Carlos Oliveira Rodrigues, said Larcher brings “a strong track record of delivering results, developing high-performing teams and maintaining a clear focus on customer success”.
“As the transition to low carbon transport gathers pace, supported by continued investment in our dealer network, Aymeric will lead the business into its next phase of sustainable growth,” he added.
Commenting on his new role, Larcher said: “The UK and Ireland markets are recognised across Europe for their pace of innovation and commitment to decarbonisation. I am proud to take on this role at such an important time for our industry.
“Our ambitions are clear: to accelerate the shift to low carbon transport and continue to deliver the high levels of service, reliability and partnership all of our customers expect.
“I look forward to working closely with our colleagues, dealer partners, and customers to further strengthen Renault Trucks’ position as a trusted, long-term partner across the UK and Ireland.”
