Truck & Bus Inspection Week draws to a close across Europe this Sunday, 15th February following week-long roadside checks across the continent.

Police and enforcement agencies carried out targeted roadside checks on HGVs and coaches, focusing on: drivers’ hours and rest times, tachograph compliance, driver and vehicle documentation, load securing as well as vehicle weights and technical condition.

The roadside checks were part of regular pan-European enforcement campaigns, co-ordinated by ROADPOL, enforcing rules that already apply across Europe.
