Bunzl Retail partners TIP for major trailer and truck fleet upgrade

Truck and trailer rental firm, TIP Group has provided Bunzl Retail Supplies with a major fleet upgrade solution, supplying a significant number of trucks and trailers, the latter as both brand new and fully refurbished assets.

Under the long-term hire arrangement, TIP has supplied brand new SDC trailers, which are a mix of curtainsider and box vans, and DAF trucks, a mix of XF tractor units and 12 tonne / 18 tonne rigids.

The trailers are of tri-axle and tandem axle configuration, are fitted with ‘tuck-under’ tail lifts and with TIP Insight’s BrakePlus Electronic Performance Monitoring System to improve safety, ensure compliance and support efficiencies.

Both trailers and trucks are supplied with new Bunzl Retail branding and have maintenance, repair and compliance management services delivered by TIP.
