Kia PV5 takes Parkers Van of the Year Award

The Parkers Van of the Year title in the UK has gone to a brand-new commercial vehicle manufacturer in 2026, with the all-new Kia PV5 picking up the overall award.

In addition to the overall award, the PV5 also took the ‘Best Electric Van’ title, seeing off competition from long-established models from major manufacturers.

The PV5’s win came thanks to a number of key factors in the eyes of the judging panel, as it offers “a strong electric range, an attractive cabin and an impressive driving experience”.

The established commercial vehicle brands also picked up awards, with the Ford Transit Custom retaining its ‘Best Medium Van’ title while the Ford Transit Courier won the ‘Best Small Van’.

The Ford Ranger is the ‘Best Pickup Truck’ once again, only this time in the guise of a plug-in hybrid.

The Renault Master, which took the overall Van of the Year title in 2025, is also on the list of winners in 2026. It retained its ‘Large Van of the Year’ award, with an attractive all-round proposition.
