Freeland Freight Services boosts fleet safety with Totalkare
Freeland Freight Services, a logistics and freight provider, has taken a significant step to enhance vehicle safety and compliance by investing in a mobile brake tester from Totalkare, a leading provider of vehicle workshop equipment across the UK and Ireland.
Based in Aberdeen, the heart of the UK’s freight corridor, Freeland Freight Services operates a modern fleet of HGVs and trailers, providing nationwide haulage services. With increasing demand and a growing number of vehicles on the road daily, the company recognised the need for more streamlined, accurate, and compliant brake testing procedures.
Freeland Freight Services recently partnered with Totalkare and acquired a DVSA-approved mobile brake tester to ensure its trucks and lorries are in top condition before heading out into the roads, preventing accidents and breakdowns.
Totalkare says its mobile brake testers provide accurate and reliable data regarding vehicle safety. This makes sure that the vehicle you are testing stays safe on long and short journeys while obeying safety standards and protocols.
Totalkare adds that its standard model can test up to 16,000 kg axle load, though the company offers an upgraded version that can test up to 20,000 kg, which is perfect for a range of commercial vehicles.
Phillip Sutherland at Freeland Freight Services said: “We required a highly adaptable and accurate mobile brake testing unit, this is why we commissioned Totalkare. Safety has always been our top priority, and Totalkare’s mobile brake tester, aligns perfectly with our commitment to excellence and vehicle safety.”
