LKQ launches comprehensive glue repair kit
LKQ has launched what it claims to be the largest and most competitive glue repair solution on the market – the LKQ Collision Kit.
According to the leading bodyshop industry service provider, the new LKQ Collision Kit is designed to offer bodyshops “a quality, cost-effective alternative to replacement parts and help them open new revenue streams, while reducing key-to-key times, maximising throughput and boosting profits”.
The kit is available in Ireland from €4,795+VAT and is designed for fixing dents and damage using glue-based repair methods such as pull-to-paint. Each kit includes 220 pieces including tools and essential accessories.

Delegates on the course will be shown how to use the LKQ Collision Kit to perfect techniques such as using the glue system for pull-to-paint repairs, restoring panel gaps to OEM standards, applying lateral tension pullers effectively and gaining EV and hybrid repair expertise.
For those looking to expand their knowledge and skills even further, the two-day LKQ Collision Kit Advanced training is available for a maximum of four attendees (ROI price on request). It extends to advanced tools and techniques including use of the lateral tension bar and pulling towers, LED line board for precision dent analysis and ways to minimise the need for deep filling and tackle medium to large dents.
