Starline Coaches choses Totalkare mobile column lifts

Maidstone-based Starline Coaches has enhanced its vehicle maintenance capabilities with the addition of cable-free mobile column lifts from Totalkare, a leading provider of heavy-duty workshop equipment.

Starline Coaches operates a diverse fleet serving private hire, corporate travel, and school transport needs across Kent and beyond, including holiday travel across Europe.

The new mobile column lifts, each with a safe working load (SWL) of 7,500kg, can be configured in sets of four, six, or eight columns to accommodate a variety of vehicle sizes and weights.

With radio-synchronised connectivity, the lifts eliminate the need for cumbersome cables, allowing for greater flexibility and ease of use within the workshop.

Additional features, such as adjustable forks to suit a range of wheel diameters and the ability to manoeuvre the lifts effortlessly, make them a practical solution for modern maintenance operations.

Chris Roffey, managing director of Starline Coaches, expressed his enthusiasm for the new equipment: “We’re pleased to bring Totalkare’s mobile column lifts into our workshop. Their quality and functionality are excellent, and they’re already making a noticeable difference to our maintenance processes.

“The flexibility and ease of use mean we can work more efficiently and ensure our vehicles are back on the road promptly, delivering the levels of service our customers expect.”
