Bressie ‘Plugs In’ to Mercedes-Benz

Niall ‘Bressie’ Breslin, one of Ireland’s most well-known mental health advocates, has ‘plugged in’ to the all-electric Mercedes-Benz eVito van as he continues his multi-award-winning live podcast tour of Ireland.

Working in conjunction with the ‘Nevo’ dedicated electric vehicle platform, Bressie is fronting a ‘Living with Electric’ campaign, devised to demonstrate to his audiences that driving an electric vehicle is a sustainable and manageable task.

Carrying his crew and equipment in the eVito for the duration of his nationwide tour, Bressie believes that “coupled with the environmental benefit of emission-free motoring, there is a significant cost saving to be made from using electric transportation”.

Thanks to a standard charging power of 50 kW, Bressie’s Mercedes-Benz eVito panel van can be charged from 10 to 80 per cent in about 35 minutes. With the battery located underfloor, the 5,140mm long eVito provides him up to 6.6 cubic metres of loading space for all his gear.
