The company also announced a joint venture with Chinese automobile brand Chery Group, which will focus on developing, producing, and selling all-electric commercial vehicles.

The Pelkan will be delivered to customers in mainland Europe beginning mid 2024. Pricing and specification for Ireland and the UK is expected to be announced by distributor International Motors Limited (IML) during the summer.

B-ON is based in Germany and owned by Deutsche Post DHL Group. It has been producing and deploying electric fleets globally since 2017.
