Hartshorne Motor Services takes Totalkare brake tester and lifts

Hartshorne Motor Services in England is set to benefit from significant cost savings and workshop flexibility with the introduction of a Totalkare brake tester and mobile column lifts.

Providing vehicle servicing for Volvo trucks and buses, Hartshorne Motor Services has added a multi-bay workshop at its Walsall depot due to the increased demand in vehicle throughput and maintenance services.

The flexibility of eight mobile column lifts will allow Hartshorne Motor Services to service and maintain a variety of trucks, as they can be switched to sets of four and six when required without having to utilise another bay.

The TK70 in-ground brake tester has one of the strongest designs on the market and is built to withstand a high daily throughput of fully laden heavy vehicles with an axle load up to 18,000kg.

The brake tester comes with a PC, printer, monitor, cabinet and tablet device as standard, the latter enabling brake tests to be conducted from the driver’s seat in a matter of minutes.

The in-ground brake tester will complement the mobile column lifts, providing Hartshorne Motor Services with the latest in lifting and testing technology for its workshop.
