Tesla Semi poised for Europe

Tesla is set to unveil a Europe-specific version of its ‘Semi’ electric truck at IAA Transportation in Hannover this September.

First revealed for the North American market in 2017, the Tesla Semi is currently available with 822 kWh and 548 kWh batteries, offering a claimed range of up to 805km.

However, exact specs and pricing for Europe won’t be confirmed until IAA, taking place from 15th-20th September.

A European arrival for Tesla will see the American automaker compete in the electric long-haul truck market alongside the likes of Mercedes-Benz, Volvo Trucks, Scania and MAN.
