Three TÜV SÜD certs for Prinx Xelera EcoLine

The steer, drive and trailer axle versions of the new long-haul Prinx Xelera EcoLine have successfully passed TÜV SÜD’s demanding tests in Germany, and now carry the certification mark.

The achievement comes two months the Thailand-produced long-haul truck tyre celebrated its world premiere. It was presented to an exclusive group of partners and members of the press at this year’s The Tire Cologne.

The Xelera EcoLine focuses on maximum fuel efficiency. In addition, thanks to its XChip technology, it provides fleet operators with live data on critical parameters such as tyre pressure, temperature, load, mileage and tread depth.

“This achievement underlines our continuous commitment to providing European fleets and transport companies with reliable, high-quality tyre solutions. Having all three key long-haul applications successfully tested by TÜV SÜD is an important recognition of the quality and development work behind the Prinx product range,” said Thomas Wohlgemuth, managing director of Prinx Europe.

In addition to rolling resistance, wet grip and noise emissions, TÜV SÜD also tested its robustness. The official test data is currently being incorporated into all relevant Prinx product and marketing materials and will be published shortly.

The Xelera EcoLine in all three axle versions will be exhibited at IAA Transportation 2026 in Hannover – marking its first presentation to a broad public audience.
