Chery to launch commercial vehicle brand Delivan
Chinese automaker Chery is set to launch a new commercial vehicle brand for the European market, called Delivan.
The company said it will use next week’s CV Show in Birmingham to present a number of concept vehicles.

Aiming for a 2027 launch in Europe, Delivan chief executive Jolly Yang, said the brand is focused on delivering “intelligent, efficient and future-ready mobility solutions tailored to the evolving needs of operators”.
“Europe represents one of the most advanced and demanding commercial vehicle environments in the world, and it is exactly where we want to demonstrate the strength of our vision, our technology and our long-term commitment,” he said.
“As the urgency to address climate change grows, reinforcing the shift towards electrification and smarter logistics and driving demand for more efficient, connected commercial vehicles, we see an opportunity to define a new model for intelligent commercial mobility, built on advanced technology,” Yang added.
Chery currently has a strong presence in parts of Europe through its Jaecoo and Omoda car brands, in particular the Jaecoo 7 SUV which is currently the UK’s best-selling new car.
It is unclear at this moment whether Chery will launch its new Delivan LCV brand in Ireland, or indeed its Jaecoo and Omoda car brands, with a number of Irish importers and distributors keeping their cards close to their chests.
