Denso launches new Camshaft and Crankshaft sensors

Denso has added 10 Camshaft and Crankshaft Position Sensors to its existing collection, helping the aftermarket to boost sales in time for winter by improving injection and ignition controls for customers.

The five new Denso Crankshaft Position Sensors have 129 unique applications across the Toyota and Lexus range incorporating both past and present vehicle models. The eight new Denso Camshaft Position Sensors have 119 applications across the same vehicle pool.

Information from the camshaft and crankshaft position sensors aids the engine ECU in managing injection and ignition timing and the sensitivity of the Denso parts help avoid engine problems such as stalling or failed ignition.

The compact camshaft and crankshaft position sensors provide a durable OE solution for the aftermarket whilst the sensitive injection and ignition controls help meet the needs for cleaner vehicle emissions and higher fuel efficiency (reduced CO2 emissions).

Updates to the range will cover key models within the Toyota and Lexus range including the Toyota Corolla and Celica and the Lexus IS.
