WorldSkills Ireland 2025 winner prepares for Shanghai

WorldSkills Ireland 2025 winner Kalem Redmond is currently in preparation for the global WorldSkills competition in Shanghai this September.

In-person training sessions have now commenced at the automotive technology workshops in Technological University (TU) Dublin’s city campus.

Redmond will prepare for the 48th WorldSkills Competition over the next 12 weeks alongside TU Dublin automotive lecturer Michael O’Connor.

Pictured below alongside Redmond and O’Connor is Sabrina Forsyth, careers and data manager at the Society of the Irish Motor Industry, who visited TU Dublin to wish the pair well in their preparation for Shanghai this 22nd-27th September.
