Europe’s first fully electric drawbar crane vehicle enters service

The Tarmac Group in the UK has put what it claims to be the first fully-electric drawbar crane vehicle in Europe into service.

Developed in partnership with Renault Trucks and Massey Truck Engineering Ltd, this new addition was introduced into Tarmac’s fleet last week and has been operating seamlessly from its Linford site in the South East.

Tarmac says this milestone builds on its pioneering move in 2022, when the company launched the UK’s first fully electric concrete mixer.
