Renault Trucks reshuffles UK and Ireland leadership team
Renault Trucks has announced a number of structural changes to its UK and Ireland leadership team.
Carlos Oliveira Rodrigues is promoted from managing director of Renault Trucks UK & Ireland, to the role of Renault Trucks Europe senior vice president, effective February 1st 2026.

Rodrigues succeeds Christophe Deshayes, while Antoine Duclaux has been appointed president of Renault Trucks.
In his new role, Rodrigues will oversee the appointment of a new managing director for the UK and Ireland market.
In the interim, James Charnock, commercial director and Derek Leech, service market and retail development director, will serve as acting managing directors for the UK and Ireland.
Charnock will manage Renault Trucks UK & Ireland’s importer business, while Leech will oversee the wholly owned truck centre businesses, including Renault Truck Commercials East, Renault Truck Commercials West, Renault Trucks Scotland and Vertellus by Renault Truck Commercials (previously Rental+).

“The experience of working in the mature and discerning UK and Ireland markets will be invaluable as I step into my new role,” he added.
