Hyundai Hydrogen Mobility expanding industry support for hydrogen trucks
Hyundai Hydrogen Mobility (HHM) has joined the H2Accelerate collaboration to work with other manufacturers in expanding industry support for hydrogen-powered heavy-duty vehicles (HDVs).
Existing H2Accelerate members include Daimler Truck, Iveco Group, Linde, Shell, TEAL Mobility, TotalEnergies, and Volvo Group, all of which have collaborated since 2020.
Hyundai has already taken significant steps to advance hydrogen mobility in Europe. The company joined the Global Hydrogen Mobility Alliance, an alliance of more than 30 CEOs from top global companies united in urging the European Union to accelerate the adoption of hydrogen mobility across the continent.
Industry experts agree that a joint battery-electric and hydrogen-powered solution is needed to achieve this objective, and Hyundai Hydrogen Mobility’s participation strengthens this message.
