Fruehauf appoints Taylor as new managing director
Tipping trailer brand Fruehauf has named Mike Taylor as its new managing director, effective 18th August.
Fruehauf says Taylor’s “extensive experience leading large-scale manufacturing operations in the commercial vehicle sector” makes him ideally placed to guide the company through its next phase of growth.

Taylor joins Fruehauf from hydraulic equipment manufacturer Hyva, where he spent 14 years as MD and latterly as European regional director, overseeing the production of 2,000 skip and hook loader vehicles annually.
Taylor will be based at Fruehauf’s Grantham headquarters in the UK, succeeding Artūras Mitunevičius who will take up the role as head of the company’s automation programme, including the installation of two substantial robotic welding systems for chassis beams, crane subframes and aluminium bodies.
Fruehauf chief executive Tom O’Rourke said: “Attracting someone of the calibre of Mike as the new managing director is a testament to the brand and the team’s performance. His wealth of experience, proven leadership and track record in manufacturing and sales, particularly his time as managing director at Hyva, make him ideally placed to lead the business into its next chapter.”
