Somers Commercials celebrating 45 years over four days in August

Mercedes-Benz Commercials dealership, Somers Commercials Ltd, celebrating 45 years in business this year, is holding a four-day extravaganza at its premises in Camolin, Co Wexford from Tuesday 19th to Friday 22nd August.

The company is set to showcase 45 years of excellence, charting the company’s humble beginnings in 1980 to becoming one of the leading Mercedes-Benz dealers in Ireland.

The iconic Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, celebrating 30 years in Ireland this year, along with the new Mercedes-Benz Pro Cab Actros will take centre stage and will be available throughout the week for test drives.

Wide range of parts on special offer
Somers Commercials will also have a wide range of parts on special offer throughout the four-day event and there will be numerous customer raffles, refreshments and more.

Special Opening Hours (August 19-22):
Tuesday 19th. 10am – 5:30pm,
Wednesday 20th. 10am – 5:30pm
Thursday 21st 10am – 5:30pm
Friday 22nd 10am – 8:00pm.

With its sleek black finish, chrome details, and serious presence, the Mercedes-Benz 1850 SK was built for power and performance. The photograph above shows a fine version of the truck that was supplied by Somers Commercials circa 1993/94.

One of the standout trucks of its time and a firm favourite with drivers, the Mercedes-Benz 1850 SK was popular on Irish roads in the 1990s.
