Finol appoints new business development managers

Finol Oils Ltd has recently appointed Damien Meehan as the company’s new North East Area Business Manager, and Liam Delahunty as itsnew South East Area Business Manager.

Damien and Liam will be responsible for selling and marketing the company’s Total & Elf range of lubricants and Actioil, the Diesel System Treatment in their perspective areas. They will continue to develop relationships with current customers as well as obtaining new customers in this competitive market.

Damien, a Dublin native has been working with Finol for over 14 years. Damien began his career in Finol working as a warehouse operative for four years, from there Damien moved into the office where he received training in technical knowledge. After 10 years based in the office where he has picked up extensive product and technical knowledge as well as customer knowledge.

Liam who is from south Kilkenny and comes from a farming background studied engineering before getting into sales. Liam comes to Finol with over 10 years’ experience in technical sales in the industry.

Liam is an adventurer at heart and has been involved in motorsport for years. Recently Liam has taken to adventure racing which involves mountain running, cycling & kayak races over 40 – 300kms.

As well as taking on the new challenge of starting a new role this year, Liam will be attempting a 48 hr nonstop race west to east across Ireland in 2015. Liam is looking forward to the new challenges that Finol will bring for him and hopes that his previous experience will help him with this new challenge.

Both Area Managers took up their positions recently and will be meeting all current customers shortly.
