Castrol is this week hosting a free webinar, entitled ‘Understanding Oil’, where Castrol experts David Roberts and Arron Littlewood will explore the critical role of engine lubrication and how to choose the right oil for your vehicle.

Castrol is partnering with a leading non-works truck racing team participating in the 2025 Dakar Rally in Saudi Arabia to further evaluate the performance of its engine oils in extreme conditions, using the findings to help guide the development of future advanced commercial vehicle lubricants.

Castrol has launched a new commercial vehicle engine oil specifically designed for use in Ford Trucks. According to Castrol, the new Vecton 5W-30 F-Trucks CK-4 lubricant meets Ford Trucks’ WSS-M2C213-A1 specification, aligning with the demanding standards of the European market.

Certa will be exhibiting its Castrol Lubricants brand at CV Workshop EXPO 2024, which takes place alongside the Auto Trade EXPO at the RDS in Dublin from 12th-13th October.

Fuel supplier, Certa, which is part of DCC plc, has appointed Orla Stevens as its new managing director.
