Irish faces at the CV Show
CV Workshop Magazine’s Managing Editor, John Loughran, made the short hop to the NEC in Birmingham to attend the recent CV Show, where he spoke with the small number of Irish exhibitors at the three day-event.
The CV Show was staged in Hall 5, at the NEC in Birmingham, a far cry from the halcyon days, when it used to occupy Halls 2, 4 and 5 and an outdoor exhibition area. While exhibitor numbers continue to diminish, there were still a couple of Irish companies exhibiting their wares.

Cameramatics
Cameramatics, the Dublin head-quartered technology company, is a loyal supporter of the CV Show and its mission is to prevent accidents before they happen and protect all road users.
The company showcased its 360-degree visibility, AI-powered hazard detection systems, in-cab alerts, and personalised driver training, which helps businesses to operate safer, smarter fleets.

Asset Minder
Asset Minder is also a regular exhibitor at the CV Show. The company showcased cloud based fleet maintenance and workshop management system, a completely new system which was designed from the start as a comprehensive solution to the requirements of modern day fleet owner / operators and workshop managers.
Assetminder is a comprehensive solution that includes job management, workshop loading or bay allocation, technician job assignment, electronic inspections, and maintenance planning.
On the opening day of the Show, Hugh Brady from Techplus and Ray Kenny, from Redmount International were in attendance, and posed for photographs.

Techplus
Techplus is the official distributor in Ireland for the Brakesafe portable Brake Tester, which has bright sunlight readable Pass and Fail lights which correspond to user defined pass thresholds. Individual thresholds can be set for each of the four brake types.
BrakeSafe is designed, developed and manufactured by Turnkey. Its design has evolved over many years in response to customer feedback and, as a result, Techplus believes that BrakeSafe is simply the best brake tester available today, anywhere.

Redmount
Redmount International is well known for its range of mobile column lifts, which the company markets in Ireland and the UK under the Redmount brand.
Managing Director, Ray Kenny had a number of meetings on the fringes of the show, and was happy to report that the company’s mobile column lifts continue to perform well on both sides of the Irish sea.
