S J Messenger Haulage expands fleet with 12 new SDC platform trailers

Leicester-based crane-assisted haulier, S J Messenger Haulage, has taken delivery of the first of 12 new SDC Tri-Axle Platform Trailers as part of its ongoing fleet expansion.

The family-owned company, founded in 1986, specialises in transporting construction materials such as bricks and blocks, supporting the UK’s construction industry.

S J Messenger’s new SDC trailers are specifically designed for high-performance and durability, featuring a heavy-duty construction and a centre-mounted fixed crane for efficient on-site loading and unloading.

Designed with a rear lift axle for enhanced manoeuvrability and efficiency, the trailers also come with a fixed headboard, punch decking, magnetic LED beacons, pressed steel side raves, premium lighting, and alloy wheels.

Each trailer is also equipped with a fitted sideguard toolbox for additional storage during transport.
