TotalEnergies Lubrifiants and Ford Trucks strengthen European partnership

TotalEnergies Lubrifiants and Ford Trucks have signed an international agreement to strengthen their strategic partnership in Europe.

This five-year partnership will enable both companies to offer European Ford Trucks fleet managers high-quality products and services tailored to the specific needs of vehicles and local markets.

After collaborative product development processes and tests conducted between TotalEnergies and Ford Trucks Product Development, a specially formulated engine oil for Ford Trucks has been made available for use in the maintenance of Ford Trucks Ecotorq engines.

TotalEnergies Lubrifiants has thus developed the Rubia Optima 4300 XFE 5W-20 a high-performance engine oil, specifically designed for the Ford Trucks Ecotorq engines compliant with EURO 6 standards post-January 2023. This advanced lubricant ensures optimal engine protection, improved energy efficiency, and extended engine lifetime, perfectly aligning with the needs of modern heavy-duty vehicles.

Additionally, the Rubia OPTIMA 3500 FE 5W30, which is part of the OPTIMA range, is still in use for Ford Trucks Ecotorq engines and continues to be a viable alternative.
