Prometeon Tyre renews supply deal with Collease

Collease Truck and Trailer Hire in the UK has renewed its contract with Prometeon Tyre Group for a further 12 months for the supply of tyres to the entire fleet of 2,000 trailers, 300 tractor units and 350 motorised vehicles that range from 7.5-tonne vans to 26-tonne refrigerated trucks.

The family-owned hire company leases trucks and trailers from five sites around the UK: Manchester, Felixstowe, Southampton, Norwich and Basildon. Its customers range from large fleets to smaller scale businesses that deliver products including perishable goods such as lettuce and potatoes, chilled goods and large industrial equipment.

Tony Willats, tyre manager for Collease, commented: “We were extremely happy to extend the contract with Prometeon as the service we receive is outstanding, with 100 per cent commitment from the Prometeon team.

Collease’s rental fleet customers drive around 160,000km per annum and Prometeon supply 2,500 tyres per annum.

Heffernan Tyres is the official distributor in Ireland for the full range of Prometeon tyres, which include the Pirelli, Formula, and Anteo brands.
