Maxus creates a buzz with electric van giveaway

Commercial vehicle brand Maxus says it sensed a buzz in the air at last weekend’s Nevo Electric Vehicle Show in Dublin, where large numbers are reported to have gathered to explore the latest in electric mobility.

For Maxus, the highlight of the day came with its eDeliver 5 electric van giveaway. David McHugh from Clondalkin in Co Dublin was the lucky winner, driving away in a brand-new Maxus eDeliver 5.

The eDeliver 5, priced in Ireland from €38,750 (excl. VAT), offers a range of up to 335km (city/combined, WLTP) and can handle a maximum payload of 1,200 kg.

Show-goers were also drawn to the Maxus stand to discover the new eTerron 9, an all-wheel-drive electric pickup which is set to land in dealerships in the new year.

The Maxus eTerron 9 has an ‘All-Terrain’ system offering a choice of six drive modes and a power output of 436bhp, as well as a max range of 430km (combined) and a towing capacity of 3,500kg.
