SDC Trailers wins Innovation Excellence Award

SDC Trailers has been honoured with the ‘Innovation Excellence Award’ at the annual Export & Freight Transport & Logistics Awards 2024, which took place recently at the Crowne Plaza in South Belfast.

As the UK and Ireland’s largest semi-trailer manufacturer, SDC Trailers has launched several groundbreaking initiatives aimed at improving production capabilities, environmental responsibility, and safety standards.

These projects are part of a significant £8.6 million strategic investment across the company’s Toomebridge and Mansfield production facilities.

Paul Bratton, group president of SDC Trailers, remarked: “With over 46 years of experience in design, build, and support, SDC Trailers, now part of CIMC’s global trailer manufacturing group, continues to lead through innovation.

“Our ongoing investment in R&D and state-of-the-art manufacturing processes will bolster operational efficiency, product quality, and safety standards, supporting our long-term growth and sustainability.”

SDC Truck & Trailer Parts will be exhibiting at CV Workshop EXPO 2024, which takes place alongside the Auto Trade EXPO at the RDS in Dublin from 12th-13th October.
