Bessie showcases quick release airline system at RTX

At the recent Road Transport Expo (RTX) in Warwickshire, Bessie showcased its quick release airline system which it says is ideal for multi-fleet as one line fits all.

Once fitted to the fleet, the red airline and the yellow airlines can be interchangeable with all the vehicles such as Volvo, DAF, and Mercedes-Benz.

According to Bessie, its system increases damage control as once a line has been broken the driver should return his damaged line to his workshop repair or acquire a spare replacement – meaning no down time.

Bessie says its quick release airline system is a must for all fleets as it takes 20 to 30 minutes to fit to all tractor units and can be done at the six weekly inspection cycle or when new trucks are being PDI.

The airlines can also be easily removed and stored in the vehicle overnight to prevent theft or vandalism.
