William West & Sons turns to Totalkare following flood damage

In the wake of recent flood damage that left the equipment in its workshop damaged, William West & Sons (Ilkeston) Ltd again turned to Totalkare for a reliable and efficient solution – replacing the damaged lifts with the T8DC cable-free mobile column lifts.

With a commitment to minimising downtime and ensuring operational continuity, Totalkare had stock of T8DC lifts readily available, allowing William West & Sons to swiftly replace its damaged equipment.

The four newly acquired T8DC cable-free lifts, alongside their other two sets of four T8DC column lifts, are now enhancing the lifting capabilities of the workshop, enabling the team to resume their operations seamlessly, whilst also having the ability to move the lifts to gain extra space in the workshop when the column lifts are not in use.

The T8DC cable-free mobile column lift is a versatile and robust lifting solution designed to accommodate a wide range of vehicles. With a lifting capacity of 7,500kg per column, these lifts can be configured in sets of four, six, or eight columns, providing flexibility for various lifting requirements.

Featuring a hydraulic cylinder lifting system, the T8DC columns connect wirelessly via radio synchronisation and require a single phase 230V power supply for charging. What’s more, the adjustable wheel forks on each column facilitates the lifting of a wide variety of wheel diameters – perfect for workshops handling a mixed fleet of vehicles.

Jack Longstaff, area sales manager for Totalkare, said: “We understand the urgency when unexpected events occur. Our T8DC cable-free lifts offered a swift and reliable solution to get the workshop back on track. We’re pleased to support William West & Sons in overcoming the challenges posed by the recent flood damage.”
