Morenane Transport sponsoring Lyons Motorgroup Circuit of Munster Rally

Limerick Motor Club has announced that Morenane Transport is an associate sponsor for this year’s Lyons Motorgroup Circuit of Munster Rally.

Based in Askeaton, Co. Limerick, Morenane Transport is a family-run company with over 90 years of experience in road haulage, road transport services, groupage.

Managing director Edward O’Callaghan and his wife Hazel are active supporters of Limerick Motor Club with both having great competitive success behind the wheel in rallying, Edward in his Class 14 MK2 Escort and Hazel in her Class 13 MK2 Escort both in Ireland as well as in Europe.

The appetite for motorsport runs deep in the O’Callaghan family with both their children actively competing, their son Christopher driving his Class 14MK2 Escort to success here and also in Europe, and daughter Kirsty navigating in various classes from Class 13MK2 Escorts to Rally 4 Fiestas.

The Lyons Motorgroup Circuit of Munster Rally takes place over the June bank holiday weekend, with the closing date for entries next Monday, 20th May.
