A Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle dealer in the UK midlands has taken a significant step towards enhancing its vehicle maintenance and repair capabilities by investing in two post lifts from workshop equipment expert, Totalkare.
Midlands Truck and Van Ltd operates dealerships in Birmingham, Coventry, and Wolverhampton, and is an approved Mercedes-Benz and FUSO Canter commercial vehicle dealership for the West Midlands.
The recent addition of two Totalkare two post lifts at the Wolverhampton site signifies the company’s dedication to ensuring efficient and effective maintenance and repair work on the wide array of commercial vehicles it services.
Totalkare says its two post lift offers an advantage over other lifting solutions, as they provide access to the underside of vehicles, including the wheels and associated operations, without the need for additional support stands.
This feature ensures quicker and more efficient maintenance and repair work, which is crucial for a business that focuses on keeping commercial vehicles on the road.
The two post lift is available in a range of lifting capacities, ranging from 4,500kg to 7,000kg. It features an electro-hydraulic design, non-load-bearing cables for even lifting and lowering, and individual control units for each column.
The double-S profile of the lifting columns ensures stability while minimising space requirements, and their baseless frame-free design allows for easy installation.
The lifts provide rapid lifting and lowering, with optional extras available for specific lifting requirements, such as Sprinter, Crafter and Daily vans.
