Platinum Euro NCAP rating for Ford Transit Courier

Euro NCAP has released the commercial van rating for the Ford Transit Courier.

Euro NCAP says it strongly encourages van manufacturers to equip their vehicles with the same crash avoidance technology that is already available on the market and fitted to passenger cars.

It adds that the latest Ford Transit Courier delivers on this with almost all of its safety equipment available as standard and hence becomes Euro NCAP’s first platinum award winner under the new 2023 rules.

The Ford Transit Courier achieved the highest score in the commercial van segment to date of 93 per cent. This also makes the new Transit Courier the first commercial vehicle from Ford to earn the highest possible platinum rating in Euro NCAP commercial van safety assessments.
