Tyrecare installs first UL5 in-ground lift from AC Hydraulic

Tyre and garage equipment supplier Tyrecare Ltd recently completed the instalment of Ireland’s first UL5 in-ground lift from AC Hydraulic A/S.

Installed in Dublin-based Trevor Ratcliffe Deliveries Ltd, the UL5 is a five column, 75 tonne commercial vehicle lift that is 21 metres in length, and will sit flush with the garage’s finished floor when not in use.

Tyrecare says the UL5 is a cleaner, safer and more versatile alternative to the traditional drive-over pit.

It features moveable 15 tonne columns with auto positioning available, a rolling aluminium cover with a load rating of seven tonnes, and it has 1.9 metres of clearance.

Suitable for van, bus, truck, agri and earthmover applications, Tyrecare says the UL5 in-ground lift offers full customisation to the client’s needs and fleet specifications at the design stage.
