First ever Autopaint EXPO a big success

The first ever Autopaint EXPO, hosted by leading coatings, bodyshop equipment and consumables supplier Autopaint Supplies, has been hailed as a big success.

The event, which took place at the Pillo Hotel in Ashbourne, Co. Meath last Wednesday (18th October), featured global bodyshop brands including Mipa Paints, Roberlo, Prevost, J Tape, Telwin, Gerko, SATA, Sika, Cartec, AIT, Mirka, Kovax, Teng Tools, and Technological University Dublin’s (TUD) bodyshop apprenticeship programme.

Over 150 people attended the one-day event, with visitors getting to experience live demonstrations across all of the stands.

Ciaran Fox, business development manager at Autopaint Supplies said all exhibitors expressed their delight at the turn out and the quality of the attendees.

“We were delighted with the turn out on what was an awful night for driving,” he said.

“A lot of business was conducted on the night and we have a lot of follow ups, which is very encouraging.

“The feedback from all of the exhibitors was very positive and they really enjoyed the event.”
