Goodyear adds nine new sizes of Vector 4Seasons Cargo
Goodyear is expanding its Vector 4Seasons Cargo tyre range with nine new sizes, reaching a comprehensive line-up of 28 units from 14 to 19 inches to meet the growing needs of fleets in Europe.
The broad range can fit some of the most popular light commercial vehicles in the market, such as the Ford Transit, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, MAN TGE and Isuzu D-MAX.
Operating a successful and efficient fleet requires managers to extract the most out of their resources, ensuring that jobs are completed on time and minimising vehicle downtime. This can become increasingly difficult during the winter months when the weather can impact vehicle efficiency and delays can place a strain on delivery quotas.
One way fleets can support year-round performance from their tyres is by switching to an all-season fitment. Goodyear says its tyre technology allows all-season tyres to rival the benefits of interchangeable summer and winter fitments, meaning it can often be the best choice for fleets.
The Goodyear Vector 4Seasons has won numerous tyre tests across Europe and has been awarded ‘Green Tyre’ and Eco-Master 2023 by AutoBild. It features the latest technologies to keep fleets moving all year round.
In wet conditions, the tyre delivers exceptional performance with Aqua Control Technology that disperses water consistently across the tyre’s contact patch, according to Goodyear.
On snow, Goodyear says its Snow Grip Technology features a large number of sipes in the centre of the tread, which helps to claw snow and increase grip. Eco Cushion Technology also helps maximise efficiency by minimising rolling resistance.
In addition, the tyre carries the three-peak mountain snowflake (3PMSF) approval mark, meaning it is proven to operate in winter driving conditions, like ice, slush and snow.
