Tyre Safety Day on Monday 2nd October

The Irish Tyre Industry Association (ITIA) is joining with the Road Safety Authority and An Garda Síochána again this year to highlight Tyre Safety Day on Monday, 2nd October.

On this day there will be Garda checkpoints around the country and an emphasis will be placed on checking tyres.

The ITIA will be supporting members with materials and campaign ideas so that the general public will be made aware of the importance of regular tyre maintenance and inspection.

The ITIA will post pictures shared from member outlets and from the roadside checks on the day and is encouraging all retail outlets to make their teams aware of this initiative and promote it with their customers.
