Crane manufacturer Hiab as appointed John Carnall as its new vice president and managing director for the UK and Ireland.
He replaces Ian Mitchell, who leaves the business to pursue other opportunities, having held the position since 2019.
Carnall joins the business from another division of Hiab parent company Cargotec and brings to his new role 37 years of experience in heavy industry, including 28 years working overseas.
Hiab says Carnall’s role will involve continuing the development of the business in the UK and Ireland, through organic growth and selective acquisition.
“I am delighted to join what is already a hugely successful team and look forward to further developing the relationships we have with our loyal customers, who are accustomed to our products, service and innovations,” Carnall said.
“Customers will remain at the heart of our approach as we continue on our journey to become the number one partner for on-road handling solutions.”
