Isis Rescue strengthens in-house capabilities with Totalkare
Oxfordshire-based vehicle recovery and repair specialists Isis Rescue has reinforced the strength of its servicing and repair capabilities with a lifting and testing equipment from workshop equipment experts, Totalkare.
With its fleet of breakdown recovery vehicles, Isis Rescue supports motoring organisations, government agencies, insurance companies and the general motoring public.
Now, Isis Recovery has invested in one of Totalkare’s heavy duty mobile brake testers, allowing the company to reliably service its fleet in-house, saving money in the long term, and keeping vehicles out on the road for longer stretches of time.
Totalkare says its mobile brake tester is a flexible yet reliable solution for any commercial vehicle workshop. Models are available with a testing capacity of up to 20,000kg axle load.
Easily manoeuvrable and functional on a variety of surfaces, including outdoors on uneven ground, the brake tester is supplied with computer, printer, cabinet, and handheld tablet that communicates wirelessly with the computer to enable tests to be conducted from the comfort and safety of the driver’s seat.
Following the successful introduction of the mobile brake tester, Isis Rescue returned to Totalkare to purchase a set of T8DC cable-free mobile column lifts. A set of four mobile column lifts offers a lifting capacity of 30,000kg and adjustable wheel forks to suit many types and weights of vehicle.
The cable-free version charges using single phase power and has up to 25 lifting cycles per charge, operational from any column. For those lifting larger vehicles, the T8DC can be used in sets of four, six or eight, adding lifting capacity to a flexible solution.
