IM Group bringing German B-ON eLCVs to Ireland

As reported here last month, International Motors (IML) is adding the German electric light commercial vehicle (eLCV) brand B-ON to its UK and Ireland operations.

It plans to have 25 dealers in place in the UK by the end of 2023, and original thinking was three or four here in Ireland.

Dealers across the UK and Ireland will sell and service the Max and Giga eLCV models, which will be offered in ‘Box’ or ‘Pure’ trim levels.

B-ON is based in Germany and owned by Deutsche Post DHL Group. It has been producing and deploying electric fleets globally since 2017, with over 20,000 vehicles already on the road, claiming to cover up to 400km per day.

International Motors already distributes Subaru, Isuzu, and China’s Great Wall Motors (GWM) Ora in the UK. It distributes all of those in Ireland too, except Isuzu (that’s Harris Group).
