Miele acquires electric ID. Buzz Cargo vans

Appliance manufacturer Miele has acquired the first of five all-electric ID. Buzz Cargo vans, which will be used as part of its customer service and aftercare fleet in the UK.

The vans feature custom shelving systems designed to meet the requirements of service employees for stowing materials, replacement parts and tools.

A centre console has also been installed with an integrated folding table to serve as the driver’s workstation.

Vehicle customisation was carried out in a joint development process between Miele, conversion partner Würth, and Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles.

The ID. Buzz Cargo, which is the ‘2023 Continental Tyres Irish Van of the Year’, is the workhorse of the ID. Buzz family, and is available to purchase in two trim levels – Commerce and Commerce Plus.
