Air Ambulance NI announces supercar extravaganza

Air Ambulance NI, in conjunction with sponsors Charles Hurst, has announced a new ‘Supercar Extravaganza’ event this July.

Everyone is invited to a ‘Supercar Extravaganza’ spanning over two days and two locations. Beginning on Saturday 29th July, with what promises to be an unforgettable display of high performance luxury supercars will be on show from 10am until 2pm, at Portstewart’s famous Northwest 200 Pits raising vital funds for life-saving charity Air Ambulance NI.

On day two, they head to Bishopscourt Racing Circuit, just outside Downpatrick, from 10am to 4pm. There promises to be hundreds of high-performance luxury supercars on display, along with rally, classic and vintage. On this day, spectators will also have the opportunity to purchase passenger laps in some of the most exotic cars in the country.

Offering a great day out for families, car enthusiasts will have the chance to see some of the most exciting brands on the market together in one place.

Vehicles expected to feature include Lamborghinis, McLarens, Aston Martins, Ferraris, and many more.

Air Ambulance NI has brought together a team of supercar owners and enthusiasts to help support and guide the event. They will be supported by Charles Hurst with many new models too.

Vintage and classic car clubs are also welcome to display their vehicles. Car clubs are welcome to attend this charity fundraiser.

If you would like to attend the event or display your car, registration is open at www.airambulanceni.org/supercar-extravaganza. All funds raised through this event will helps sustain the air ambulance service for the people of Northern Ireland.

Previously organised by Ronan Cunningham from Coleraine, he handed over his great work on previous events to Air Ambulance NI, which has run the NI Supercar Extravaganza event since 2020.

As mentioned, the event is now sponsored by Charles Hurst. Jeff McCartney, its group operations director said: “This event is one with an extremely proud legacy and the whole team at Charles Hurst are delighted to come on board this year.

“We can’t wait to share with the public some of the most exciting luxury vehicles on the market including the Ferrari 296 GTS and Aston Martin DBX707.”

He added: “With incredible cars, coffee and fun for all the family, it’s set to be a brilliant two days out for spectators and one we hope raises some much-needed funds for the incredible team at Air Ambulance NI.”
