TecAlliance streamlines digital service book entries for workshops
Automotive aftermarket data expert TecAlliance has announced the latest updates to its TecRMI Service Book platform.
It says the solution offers a “simple and standardised” process for recording digital service book entries for various vehicle manufacturers, with new features and expanded reach into additional countries.
The TecRMI Service Book online tool enables workshops to quickly and easily digitally document maintenance work that they have carried out.
An interface to DMS systems enables TecRMI data users to transfer quotes to the TecRMI Service Book with just a click and complete the process in under a minute.
The service book entries are currently supported in a uniform standard process for 14 vehicle manufacturers.
A check against TecRMI data ensures that the maintenance tasks are carried out and documented in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.
With the latest update, workshops can also access service bulletins and active recalls for a specific VIN, which in many cases is required by the manufacturer.
